The Nigerian International Book Fair (NIBF) is an annual event that provides a platform for publishers, printers, writers, book sellers and book lovers to network in the book and publishing sector, with direct contact with major players in the industry from within and outside the country. NIBF attracts over 150 exhibitors from Europe, America, Asia, other African countries and across Nigeria.
There will be a variety of events at the fair, including the annual NIBF International Conference. The conference this year will focus on “the state of infrastructural development in Africa and the future of the book trade.”
The fair, which is now in its eleventh year, will hold from Monday, May 7 to Saturday, May 12 2012 at the Multipurpose Halls of the University of Lagos, and Kachifo Limited (publishers of Farafina books) will be there! Visit our stand to get your favourite Farafina titles. We hope to see you there.

This is a welcome development, and an opportunity for everyone who will be present at the venue. I endorse this. Events like this should be organised locally, say twice every year. It will go a long way. See you there, Farafina.
I have always longed to have an encounter with the beloved forum. I missed this year’s…hope to make it subsequently. I will be glad if this fair could hold in other states. FARAFINA, you are the bomb.
