Alaba Onajin

Alaba Onajin is a graphic novelist with a diploma of Cartooning and Illustration from Morris College of Journalism, Surrey Kent. His work includes The Adventures of Atioro, and other collaboration projects with UNESCO and Goethe Institut. He lives in Ondo State, Nigeria.

Dunni Olatunde

Dunni Olatunde is a writer interested in the enhancement of the literacy skills of young children. She is a public speaker and the author of Lilies Among Thorns and Mystery at Ebenezar Lodge. She lives in Canada with her husband and four children.

Ellen Banda-Aaku

Ellen Banda-Aaku was born in the UK and raised in Africa. She won the 2004 Macmillan Writer’s Prize for Africa for her children’s book, Wadi’s Little Voice. In 2007, she was awarded the Commonwealth Short Story Prize for her story, ‘Sozi’s Box’. She also won the Penguin Prize for African Writing in 2010 and was nominated for the Commonwealth Book Prize in 2012.

Simidele Dosekun

Simidele Dosekun is a lecturer in media and cultural studies in the School of Media, Film and Music at the University of Sussex. Her research interests cut across gender and feminism in Africa; transnational feminist cultural studies; feminist theory; and qualitative, feminist and poststructuralist methodologies. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Social Studies from Harvard University.
